| CAN'T COME HOME AGAIN |
| by Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal |
| What good did our
father do for us in prison? Sucking on that bottle, sucking worse as a man, father, husband, and provider when he was home. It is no big surprise my poor sister could not live a real life. Her mind was sick since she was small. I did my best to help her, but I cannot do it anymore. Scrubbing her blood from her bedroom, I can't contain my fear, sadness, and helplessness. I'm counting on you to make sure she is safe. Tell her I still love her. But she can't come home again. |
