clouds are torn to long ribbons a symphony of discarded breaths in the cold fearless bird sifts through the trash it's head a piston of oiled feathers girl with a pistol tattoed on her hip spits schizophrenics sit alone carry on conversations sacreligious shuffling jukeboxes messiahs of chemical misfire under the wing of medication but there's no angelic dna here the joke's on us and we all know gods punchline is silence. |
