| Piece of Mind |

| I'd give her a piece of my mind,
but she owns too many already. Countless shapes, colors, sizes: enough to ornament a thousand Christmas trees. Come to think of it... she should give me a piece of my mind! Instead she stores them in Tupperware till needed - says they have many practical uses around the kitchen. She adds the tastiest pieces to favorite recipes as a meat substitute with no calories or fatty acids. Also employs some as seasonings, others as garnish, blends pieces in with frozen Daiquiris’, even feeds pieces to her cats as an occasional treat. That ruthless girl converted one of my very best pieces into an electric vibrator – as if that piece wasn’t good enough the way it was! I admit she has talent; still… I sure wanted to keep that one inside my head - made off with it one night while I was passed out. She already owns all the really good pieces, would I now freely give her a piece of my mind? I must be out of...mind! Or most certainly would be, except a few pieces sneaked away from her yesterday and scurried back to my brain. I was delighted to see them again, it had been quite some time. |
