| brushed against you
while walking alone on the beach and overturned you with my toe, a smooth surface surprising among the sand. those endless curves wrapping around to complete a life; this is home. exposed, the waves take you back. I walk along the shore judging the tides and timing. Somewhere there is a perfect spot to wait, knowing everything returns eventually. |
