| i don't wanna be a factory mom,
joni said half-hour into a mandatory twelve. she was four months along, just starting to show. wanna get a secretary job something in an office away from all these fucking chemicals but my typing isn't very good, she said as we taped up another box of swimming pool ph strips. told her she could take some typing classes at night. said she probably couldn't afford that. told her they probably offered them free at the community center. sounds like a-lot of work, she said pulling off her favre jersey marlboro's out of her locker as first break buzzer cut cadence over the speakers. |
