***BIO*** Courtney J. Campbell is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, holds a Master's degree in Education from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay and currently is pursuing her doctourate in History at Vanderbilt University. Her poetry, essays and reviews have been published in several print and online journals including Iodine Poetry Journal, Poetrybay, In the Fray, Ocho, The Smoking Poet, From East to West and Empowerment4Women. She is also co-editor of Socialist Women and participates on the editorial board of The Socialist, both publications of the Socialist Party - USA.
