| where are the living?
not down the street on the main stretch packed into cars, stalling in traffic at noon baked in the heat, counting gallons of gas burning- more and more dollar signs evaporating with the carbon monoxide and food money gone, no more money left for medicine or the utility bill forget school forget resumes nothing’s left for you the gap is ever widening the forecast said 97 and mr. news reporter reports-- if you're not going over 45mph keep the windows down you're moving too slow. only the ones that travel faster should turn on the air. anything else is too much a drag. |
