| THE PLANET OF SAND |
| by Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal |
| I found a planet in the sand.
All the bars and taverns were made of sand. The beer and whiskey tasted of sand. But it still got you drunk. I didn’t mind being in the planet of sand. The bar band played some cool jazz. The band was also made of sand. I danced with a sand woman. Her hands were rough to the touch. Her kiss was sandy. When we made love I was in pain and ecstasy. I just was not ready to commit. |
