Dr. Ross Runfola, a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, is an award winning professor, attorney, sport sociologist, journalist and poet. He has done post-graduate work at Oxford University in England and Stanford University. After winning the “Greater Buffalo Oral Poetry Slam, Runfola became a popular but controversial reader and writer. The media has described both his written and oral poetry as “free and reckless” befitting someone “who does not follow accepted modes of behavior in his personal or professional life” to show others how to be creative in breaking the strains of homogeneity.
