| This Man |
| by Mathias Nelson |
| This man, he rises at noon.
Sometimes not until two afternoon. He drinks orange juice right away. Makes a small meal, his favorite just big enough to soak up the Casillero del Diablo leftover in his stomach. He scoops lint out of his belly button. Flicks it where he pleases. Shirtless, he moves about slowly. The heat just right. No use for pants. He has a decent looking, smart woman that believes in everything he does. Sleeps until noon, too, and works evenings while he writes, all the while believing. And she doesn’t smoke. Has smooth, smooth legs. Stays in shape. All she asks is that he eats her out now and then. He doesn’t mind. She smells like coconut. Leaves the scent all over him. This man can smell her always. Sniffs himself. Cleans the house with music while she’s away, works out, writes then fucks her as long as he can when she comes home. They’re in love. I’m in love just thinking about it. This man, I want to be this man! |
