| Another Cold Morning |
| by Paul Hellweg |
| Seven degrees,
two feet of snow I sip strong black coffee waiting for the sun to appear with light and warmth and hope but I feel sad because I know the sun doesn't give a shit about me or my hangover, nor does it care about the young boys and shy schoolgirls who still think the sun is for them, but I'm glad they do, and I pray no one will ever tell them different, or show them this poem. |
