| My next great idea
marketed for those anti-Valentine’s Day crusaders, the true cynics who’ll gnaw on my little hearts, and get me rich quick. My colored candy’s sayings will not read “HUG ME” “BE MINE” or “CUTEY PIE”. They will reflect our struggles with love and ambiguity--- saying such sweet somethings as: “CHEATER” “I’M LEAVING” “GO AWAY” “NOT YOUR KID” “YOU’RE FAT” “INFECTED” “STFU” “TAKE A BREAK” “FLAT LINE” “FUCKING OTHERS” “DEAD ROSES” “I DON’T CARE ” “YOU BORE ME” “DIVORCE ME” “UGH” and “EWWW” They say it’s only once a year but as an optimist I’d like to think, Valentine’s Day, with a Black Heart and that special someone could be everyday. |
