| from this quiet room with shades drawn
I sit watching the dust motes spiraling through sun beams a trillion, trillion galaxies in my living room. Stacks of books and disks litter the floor cover every table and flat spot notes and poems half finished are left on piles of books precariously balanced cups and jars filled with pens and pencils find homes on corners to small for anything else. Every day with wind and sun dust is blown through screens and windows soft powdering of dust covers every page left laying about. |
