| In Love With A Lunatic |
| by Stacy Lynn Mar |
| I am a hypocrite in my
Tiny white feet. The way I tell him To fuck off, Then run back into his arms. We are clockwork, A sick cycle of Never again, And ever after. How I rub his back, How he kisses me. The way we wind Into each other They way the moon Winds it’s opulent hues Onto the hillside of This black night. We are a crazy Concoction, Of forever pushing, And desperately pulling… Clothes, words, lies, blame. Robbing each other daily Of what yesterday Was given in free. Loving without proper reason, Loving because it’s natural. I am a phenomenal lady, In love with a lunatic In messy brown hair And a smile that melts They dark side Of the harsh words he says. Tonight I rip him from Within me, We are a mangled mess Of cruel words And pitchfork-sharp goodbyes. Come morning, We’ll side back inside Each other. Like thieves, Like two silly entertainers In a swanky magician sideshow. |
