| the wind used to be magic
but this television show tells me i have two years left to go. Lemon-yellow. Mulberry. Blizzard Blue. this canvas needs color, and why cannot i not find a goddamn paintbrush. like a schizophrenic off the pills, every footstep a knock on the door that will never be, your fists wasted on other's chipped wood. after work, the 405 at a standstill. i will yell through windowpanes at the carpool lanes. social networking sites — coded leeches and; don't we all hate how they nonchalantly tilt their heads in a sepia-soaked frame? go ahead and whisper your secrets to the whiskey hidden under the front seat; i have words enough for the both of us to fuck it up again. |
