| the old book of
poems spills out polaroids a young man and woman kissing deeply lovingly, and i can only look at it with a sense of jealousy for these two people i don't know. a hand typed bukowski piece and an explanation were stuck in the dead center. someone wrote a love note on the back of the front cover trying to express the unending adoration and awe he feels with her and hoping to get that across with a book of heart-crushing poems. i bought the book used, and love note and all. |
