| I am not an atheist
because I was taught to be one, I am an atheist because no religion was jammed down my throat to thwart sense. I am not an atheist because it is cool or hip or street or dark or tough or slick or punk. I was an atheist before I read Nietzsche. I was an atheist before I could read at all. Life is mysterious enough without god. |
