| when i started this,
it was beautiful. it was freeing and joyous. the way my fingers danced across the keys, clack, clack, clack echoing down and out like a midnight symphony ascending from the night but along the way, something happened and the fire ants in my head devour the lines faster than my fingers can dance. so slowly but with dead certainty my mind shrunk, shrunk, shrunk and was, instead, replaced with a looming ego and the echo of the click, clack, clack can still be heard but my fingers they are no longer dancing, they are running. |
