Walk down the middle of Geary barefoot at three thirty in the morning while a northern squall strafes the city. A twenty-four hour convenience hardware store sells spade shovels across the street from a twenty-four hour convenience graveyard where some rotting bastard’s socks warm moldy feet. II Sucked through every mirror on the sidewalk only to wind up back on some strange couch; the same rutabaga packs of dog leeches snicker at delusions of gorging on someone’s sexualcidal fantasy. III The voice of the mattress tag authority blares down from unseen public address systems strategically planted on the tops of steely gray sixty story denials, fair weather foundations inhabited by Axl Rose directing a hybrid disaster-porno flick in the tunnels. IV Will religion please smash itself into a thousand million snowflakes; no two alike, where to look at any one temple, the passive observer may witness symmetrical pagans fucking Jesus upside down, before strapping his sweet torment on underbellies of seven sixty sevens. |
