| bitter salt fingers tapping, tapping
burning all my energy smoking things & worrying it’s a hot Tuesday in July & I rest my head on the shelf in the liquor cabinet saying, hmm, hmmm so this is how it goes clink clink I’m an upside down cat in the corner on the ceiling holding on for all I’m worth while little bits of plaster rain down on the cleaning lady in her white Reeboks & Juicy sweats listening to J.Lo on her Ipod she chases me with her broom but I hide in the attic with ragged claws, plotting my escape the dog went on holiday he’s not coming back & if he does he’ll hit YOU with a newspaper bitch. |
