| I focus on the unknown
Because there is so little Which is known, It’s like when you Turn on the cop shows On television and They are chasing the bad guys It’s like the thing has Been figured out And the world is safe for working And buying things Well in the coffee houses You can watch the young with Cell phones, As if everything is alright I think too much about good luck, Bad luck and chance No one teaches us These things And no one knows what happens To anyone for sure It’s the unknown I think about, When so little has been discovered On many nights I think of the unknown And the televisions and parades I barely notice |
