| ***BIO*** Avi Golden hates talking about himself, let alone in third person. He is a deadbeat who relies on minor chemicals (some legal, some not so legal) to escape his lack of a "meaningful" life. While on these illicit trips of escape, he dabbles in poetry and hatches up schemes to keep his sugar-lady from dumping him. |

| When I go to Border’s,
I am very self conscious. I ‘m always looking around to see what others are reading, or interested in, and very aware of what message I’m sending as I pick a book up. That’s why I love the beach. The wind blows the pretension away. I can bring any shitty book of poetry I want, a six pack of Mickey’s, and no one cares. I can vomit beer onto the beach and no one cares. I just kick a little sand over it, take a quick nap in the sun, and I’m good to go. |
