| KITTY POLYGRAPH |
| by Bryon D. Howell |
| When I was
just getting clean, I was writing a lot of poetry. I honestly believed I had covered all my tracks. My cat used to love separating me from the pen by pawing it away when I wasn't looking. It's amazing how much trouble I got into the day the cat reached under the couch and thought she'd discovered hidden kitty gold. Behold! The elusive - glass pen! If she wasn't trying to stop my new dreams from evolving she was trying to remind me of the nightmares - I was still running from. She was so co-dependent. |
