| ***BIO*** Aleathia Drehmer started writing as a way to cope with the loneliness of revolving door friendships, the constant change of scenery, and the lack of strong influence from anything. Her work has previously appeared in Zygote in my Coffee, Cerebral Catalyst, Lunatic Chameleon, and Haggard and Halloo. She presently lives in Upstate NY and spends her time equally between writing, being a mother, and an emergency room nurse. |

| My eyes have a hard time
looking at your face, it reminds me of this struggle to find a place between us that does not push me over the edge. I have never been good at separating emotion from logic, they run over each other, wet paints on canvas smearing and bleeding into something lethally poisonous and unintended. |
