BORROWED
by Peter D. Goodwin
Borrowed a fellow land.
he didn't care
he was dead.

Borrowed his son
to work the land
He was happy
I gifted him his life.

Borrowed a woman
more than once.
But returned her
and the interest
many times.

Borrowed a lawyer
who proved
that the land,
the son
the women
were all mine all along.

Perfect.
