| (SPRING TIME) OFF EMERY |

| The streets are lined with abject backsliders. You know the type; mischief- makers cajoling with the fourteen year old neighbor girl. The one whose stand-still thighs and rock-ribbed breasts burst out laughing in a tee-hee manner because you're twenty-six and she knows you're peeling her with serpent eyes, all the while manufacturing reasons to stand ham- handed on the back porch. And that foot- dragging son-of-a-bitch glows rays of wonder as a half frozen breeze winks in admiration, more likely than not brain-working an adjacent thought. And you, you sick fucker, jealous 'cause it's not you who's innocently brushing up against her statutory body. But that's alright, because in twenty- five minutes you'll be blind-drunk off stale Budweiser, she-bopping in the bathroom to blooming tulips and fresh daisies. |
