| to live with ghosts shed your skin prepare to toss and turn like light on a hurricane lamp or a mirror that lies in its sleep. to live with ghosts look for the edge like a pair of slippers that have fallen apart like your breath in a sound proof room or the raw wound of a battered clock. to lie with ghosts you must become a shadow a futile campaign to awake to turn without moving the lone particle of dust that tells you where the edge is. to live with ghosts you must prepare to die like one. |
