| ***BIO*** Laura Camacho Aguirre. I was born and raised in Costa Rica, my mother is Costarican, my dad was raised in Chicago and eventually dragged us to live brieftly in the States when I was twelve. I've always been a huge bookworm and started writting mostly in High School, both in English and in Spanish. I write a little poetry, but short stories are still my favorite. At 17 I won a national award for a story called "Middle Child". I continue to read as much as I can, and write whenever ideas pop into my mind, and as long as I have a pen available. I'm an archaeology student at the University of Costa Rica, curretly working on my graduation proyect. I was born in 1978 and I've been married for 2 years. |

| I fell in love with your space this morning, when no one was there, I fell in love with you again. I fell for the absence, for the lingering smell on the pillow; that reminded me of your neck that reminded me of your back and your arms, when you fucked me between the sheets. Do you also find that hysterical? Does it also make you laugh? Who does that anyway? Cinematic myths Sold to boys and girls On Saturday nights. Which also make me think of you, of a lingering feeling, which I sometimes think I might forget, until I fall for you all over again simply, because, it is another day. |
