| droplets of blind rain
unleash a cerebral assault on my lonely subconscious auditory nerves too fragile to play hide and seek with howling wind snow bounds my insanity from seeking an imaginary truth my mind races through a labyrinth made of steel, rocks and wood punching, kicking, bumping desperate to find the unanswered solution faceless people blend into robotic figures looming over a stale existence unable to solve the secrets of my inner brain blood stained hands covered in words paperless poetry drips from my fragile fingers death greets us with a question mark fate, destiny and despair kiss like old friends black smoke hides the tailspin i find myself in living in a creative pig sty filled with wordless rumors stopping to feed on rancid maggots hiding in the shower drain one more apple martini and my liver can die with contempt listening to god’s sick advice obeying like a trained mutt where do i belong in a world of vampires disguised in sheep’s clothing forging through a blind tunnel carving my gravestone with sharp nails, it’s a long way to the top if ya wanna rock n roll liars, all dogs are thieves robbing, ripping, racing my hands are shaking for my daily ritual down the esophagus tube straight to the nervous system all is better sleep comes with nightmares |
