| the whales will be gone
the ozone depleted the world is moving on technology will not save us from ourselves the man says all's well in the Arctic forget the red hot evidence and get thee to work the blood will spill tonight the mercy nonexistent without any justice in sight paranoia will not save us from ourselves the man says all's well in the World pray to God pray pray hoping that it will somehow magically make it all okay we will strangle our women with our morality how can we say we truly loved them anyway we will decide we will hide in a cheap old disguise I don't have a curse strong enough to say I want to believe in peace again I want to believe in mercy again I want to believe in truth again the rose will be protected deep in a thorny ravine organic reality, blissful trail difficult to see skinny dog wail hoo ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't you find the rose so pretty how it blooms how it blooms how it carooms how it sends you? don't we all send our thoughts hopes prayers wishes questions up to the same sky? the blood will spill tonight the mercy nonexistent without any clarity in sight deception will not save us from ourselves the whales will be gone the ozone depleted the global climate will change the world is moving on technology will not save us from ourselves the man says all's well |
