Where's my attorney?
by V.M. Alcazar
Okay?
Okay?
No, it's not okay.
I can't stop wishing I could jump
in a time machine and go back
a few days  to lunch time.
I can't stop wishing it were the next time.
so I can see you again.
What am I going to do?
Stop whining
and start acting like a man.
But that's what I want to do:  be a man.
With you.
Most of the time I can control my man voices.
Around most women I can get the voices to shut up!
But with you, when you look as hot as you do,
my hand voice wants to give you a quickly scribbled note
that says, "This is a stick up.    Do it to me now and
no one will get hurt!"
My eye blink voice wants to tell you how
you makes the back of my eyes jiggle and  flash like a couple of emergency blinkers.
My heart voice, which sounds like sunlight, whispers that  birds are climbing down from the trees for a better look at you.
I think I need a cane, or a wheel chair, or something.
When you're not around I can't think, walk.
I spill stuff on myself, bump into walls.
What am I going to do?
I better think of something quick.
I think I'll get an attorney and sue you for
   sexual whiplash
And contributing to the delinquency of my mind.
A woman that looks as sexy as you
should not be allowed to be walking around.
Not around me, at least.
