| the rice of spring
St. Paddies Day the yolk's on ewe -- out like a lamb (I'm counting sleepy sheep as they leap like lemmings into a sparkling crystalline sea.) stare at the sun until you see yourself reincarnated as a hawk -- or maybe the lizard in its talons may your aluminum teeth shine with the machismo of ten thousand sons of the dragon. licking lips & locking loins in a moist fog of summertime sleaze, dripping with courage -- I'm making plans for a great glass pyramid with a special spot up top, closer to the sun. |
