| I wait every night
Waiting for you to get online Just to remember what it was like All those years ago When the world was large and we were small When getting up and getting ready Still meant having to leave the house When seeing you smile would melt my heart And hearing you laugh would make all the bad go away Now here we are And miles apart And I still think about you And wonder what is next Do we grow up And leave the past behind Do we laugh at ourselves And how things have never changed Or do we sit back and cry Because it will never be the same |
