| woke up
laying parallel to a strange woman in a strange motel room on a rock hard bed still a bit drunk i got dressed & quietly closed the door behind me than walked thru a hallway with peeling yellow paint and that cheap carpet odor exited the building into a dead sunday morning fished my pockets for a cigarette & cursed myself for spending 20 dollars on the room but not 99 cents on a condom |
