not quite enough

she tells me that
she knew this one guy once who
had an arm that was
only half the size of a
normal arm.

it wasn't chopped off or
anything, just abnormally
fore-shortened.

some kind of birth defect.

she says it was
so small and so cute
that she fell head-over-heels
in love with the guy.

i tell her
if she likes small,
fore-shortened appendages
then she's the woman
i've been looking for

and i'm the man
to almost fill all
of her needs.
