| Drinking coffee In a bar Right off the downtown square I notice a wedding dress Taped to one of the windows, Its arms stretched to questioning lengths And as the sun cuts Through the dust and Fine lace folds To warm us, The woman across from me Is silent Unable to provide a reason For our shadows That sometimes mingle Though we never Touch. |
