***BIO*** The authors name is daniel patrick mccormick who writes on the zoetrope website and has been published in the beat and monkee bicycle.net under the psuedonym, eon scott. Published under given name in a short lived print mag out of Queens College about ten years ago called Saudage; which is Portoguese for something the author doesen't remember. He was a cop in NYC for twenty years for which he is still reciting personal acts of contrition. He is trying to make up for a lot of lost time and appreciates with the utmost gratitude anyone who reads his poetry.

blabbered with wit
to grasp shiny and new,

I sit in the bleachers

for observation

as the mute
convalescence
of the sun breaks

a tin pried halfway
to open that surrenders

and    stops

penetration-

all about
       what it means
when it is said
       or it is written
that a sound
       more than a whimper
is               felt               when

upon reflection
of the Falls
in my life,

         the periods
         of the most
           beauty

are all contained
         in a
                       roomful of empty
